Our house Ingrid

Ingrid House was originally built in the 16th century and has a rich history to tell.

Chronicle – Bed and breakfast Haus Ingrid

The foundation walls were laid on clay and earth without solid foundations and were built with stones of various sizes and mostly without building materials.
The upper floor and attic were built of wood.
The conversion of the building into its present form was begun by the parents between 1968 and 1971.
Subsequently, from 1975, by Erich and Ingrid Schaffer.

After the family decided to open the large house to vacation guests, changes were made to the building from 1978 onwards.
The last major change took place in 2003 and led to the current external appearance of the house.
The rooms have also been continuously improved and renovated in recent years, resulting in a high level of comfort for our guests.

In 2008, we decided to install an environmentally friendly bio-heating system in the form of wood pellets made from sawdust due to price developments in the energy sector and environmental concerns.
In 2015, we added a photovoltaic system to our house.

To ensure that our guests are satisfied in every respect and are happy to return, we pay personal attention to the quality and cleanliness of the guest rooms.

A number of changes and renovations were made again in 2015.
The ski room was given a new entrance door and window as well as a new floor.
On the upper floor of the guest house in rooms 1, 2 and 4, the wooden ceiling was sandblasted and, together with new lighting, a brighter ambience was created.
All rooms in the house are equipped with laminate flooring and meet hygienic requirements.
All beds are also without foot ends.

Breakfast & lounge

In our large, friendly and rustic breakfast room and lounge we spoil our guests with a hearty breakfast with selected, organic products from the region.

The breakfast room also serves as a lounge and invites our guests and their children to round off a day’s vacation in peace and quiet.

We will continue to provide you with a rich breakfast, mainly with products from our region in organic quality, partly also from our own production.
With regard to environmental protection and waste avoidance, there is no portion packaging for jam, butter, honey and cheese spread.

We have set up a play corner in our breakfast room and lounge especially for children to play in.
Many board games, wooden toys and cuddly toys are available for the children to play with at any time.

Outside there is a well-equipped children’s playground where our little guests can let off steam.

However, our garden also offers you the opportunity to take a break from everyday stress and take a relaxing nap on our comfortable garden furniture.
Fresh air, peace and relaxation will recharge your batteries.
